FAQs
-
All of our team work on a ‘therapy hour’ which is 50 minutes long. Please check with your Psychologist on timings.
-
We provide therapy for individuals who self-fund, as well as for charities commissioning trauma-focused work, NHS England workforce wellbeing programmes, Local Authority and court-instructed services.
Dr Palmer and Dr Haycock both work with clients funding therapy through insurance. Dr Palmer works with Bupa and WPA and Dr Haycock works with Bupa, WPA, AXA, Aviva and Cigna.
-
Our team offers a range of face to face and online sessions. Please read the individual biographies to find out more on each clinician’s offer.
-
The number of sessions will vary. This will be agreed between you and your therapist. Your aims and the initial assessment will help shape the discussion on how many sessions may be needed. If you have a set budget, do talk to your therapist, as this will help with considering realistic aims for therapy.
-
It is important to say that as a group of independent Psychologists working in private practice, we do not provide a crisis or emergency service. Risk will be assessed on an individual basis during initial discussions and assessment sessions.
-
Our terms and conditions state that you are required to give 48hrs notice to cancel any sessions. If sessions are cancelled within this period, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. Please note that we require payment to be made in advance of any session. If you are funding therapy with insurance, please note, if you cancel a session with less than 48 hours notice or do not attend a session, you will personally be liable for the session fee.
-
Dr Palmer and Dr Haycock charge £130 per therapy hour. Our wider team set their own fee, please get in contact for more details.
